We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Project Manager Intern to support and lead critical digital transformation initiatives at Mentor Partners. This internship offers a high-impact opportunity for someone with foundational project management experience to contribute directly to improving student and mentor experiences through technology and process innovation.
As an integral part of our Program & Change Management team, you’ll oversee project delivery from planning to completion, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and at the highest quality. Successful interns will be considered for a full-time Project Manager position at the end of the 3-month term.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and outcomes.
Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource needs, and key milestones.
Create and maintain essential project documentation, charters, reports, and closure summaries.
Lead daily execution of project activities and tasks, aligned with the approved plan.
Track progress, flag risks early, and implement contingency strategies.
Facilitate team meetings such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
Serve as the central communication hub for project stakeholders.
Ensure clear and timely communication throughout each phase of the project.
Foster strong relationships across teams including Product, Engineering, and Service Delivery.
Oversee testing, rollout, and adoption of digital tools and platforms.
Ensure deliverables meet predefined standards and expectations.
Conduct post-project reviews to identify successes and areas for improvement.
2–3 years’ experience managing projects, preferably in digital transformation or IT.
Demonstrated end-to-end project delivery experience.
Comfortable managing cross-functional teams and working with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient with tools like Jira, Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
Foundational knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Capable of using data to track progress and report on project health.
Leadership: Confident leading a team towards defined goals.
Problem-Solving: Able to think critically and act decisively in complex situations.
Communication: Skilled at translating between technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive Attitude: Takes initiative and drives tasks to completion.
Adaptability: Comfortable managing ambiguity and change in a fast-paced environment.
Duration: 3 months
Evaluation: Performance will be assessed based on ability to deliver results, manage relationships, and align with team values.
