The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by
analysing processes, identifying challenges, and recommending improvements. The role involves
collaborating with stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, and working closely with
teams to deliver solutions that meet organisational goals.
1. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
Document requirements using tools such as user stories, process flows, and business
requirement documents (BRDs).
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
2. Analysis & Problem-Solving
Conduct detailed analysis of existing processes and systems to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
Use data-driven insights to propose solutions that align with business objectives.
Perform feasibility studies and impact analyses for proposed changes.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather input and communicate findings.
Ensure alignment and consensus among stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Project Support
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
Support testing phases by developing test cases, validating outcomes, and ensuring solutions meet requirements.
Provide post-implementation support and monitor the success of delivered solutions.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed and organized documentation for future reference and compliance purposes.
Create regular reports on project status, risks, and benefits realization.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems,
or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a business analysis role or similar position.
o Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Visio, JIRA, or similar project management and
diagramming tools.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools e.g. Excel
o Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Experience in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP are a plus.
Industry-specific knowledge of healthcare and technology is desirable.
